The Artists Behind
Silver Pick Studios

Pámela Vigo Sánchez is a visual artist based in El Paso, Texas. Her love for horses began almost as soon as she could walk up to a horse, emphasized by drawing colorful horses in notebooks and wearing equestrian themed outfits for school picture day. Riding horses and making little drawings for teachers and classmates were the beginnings of Pámela's future equestrian lifestyle. She now owns Indy, an Appendix gelding, whom she collaborates with to create her colorful watercolor and ink drawings lovingly dubbed Indoodles.
Pámela started her art career while attending the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) for a pre-law degree, and switched over to art three years into the law program. While attending UTEP, she created the body of work called Indoodles, watercolor paintwork by Indy with her line drawings superimposed on top. She graduated with a Bachelors in Arts in 2019, and followed graduation with a residency in the 2019 Horse and Art Research Program in Barnag, Hungary. In addition to her freelance work and owning her art business, Silver Pick Studios, Pámela began her teaching career as volunteer instructor for SKIES Unlimited children's art classes, part of the Soldier Art Workshop program on Fort Bliss. She continues teaching with SKIES Unlimited as an art instructor.
